My favorite little people call me “Nana.” You can call me Nana too.
I’m a wife, mother of two beautiful, healthy adult children, and “Nana” to three beautiful healthy, very active grandchildren. I’m a surrogate Nana to three additional small ones also.
I’m a family law paralegal by day and a sewing/crafty/blog lover by night. I help my husband during the day sort out and help families with their problems, but by the time I get home, I’m ready to “piece” things together.
We live in Anchorage, Alaska where we “chill-out,” and have a getaway home in Florida where we can go to “sweat it off” whenever we have the chance.
I’ve been blogging on and off for the past five years and just felt like I wanted to do more. I kept thinking about the things I love to do and making things/being creative tops that list. There is just something about putting small things together to make bigger things.
My goal is to share tips for the crafts and sewing projects I enjoy doing. Hopefully, this site will inspire you to pick up your thread, needle, and scissors, or to get out that dusty sewing machine, or other crafty tools to create something beautiful.
My goal is to “Inspire you to create!” That is my sincere wish.
Happy Stitching!
Nana
